Systems Thinking
My thoughts circle the truth,
refusing to land.
The mind knows.
It does not say.
It keeps the truth
from the hands
that write what can be shared.
The body pulls back,
unwilling to carry
what the heart continues to press forward.
The rhythm breaks,
not enough to stop,
just enough to be noticed.
The eyes see clearly,
the lies,
the omissions—
and say nothing.
Discipline holds.
Consciousness reviews the case.
The verdict is already known.
Still, it hesitates.
Then…
the finger moves.
